Printable ring sizer (UK)

One A4 page with a paper strip to wrap around your finger and circles to match a ring you already own.

  1. 1. In the print settings, set scale to 100% or “Actual size”, not “Fit to page”.
  2. 2. After printing, lay a bank card on the card outline. If it doesn’t match exactly, the printer has scaled the page and the sizes will be wrong.
  3. 3. Use the strip or the circles, then check your size against our UK ring size chart.

1. Check the scale

A bank card should fit this outline exactly, and the ruler should measure 50mm. If not, reprint at 100%.

2. Paper strip: measure your finger

Cut out the strip. Wrap it around the base of your finger, letters facing out, snug but loose enough to slide over the knuckle. Your size is the letter where the left end meets the strip.

3. Circles: match a ring you already own

Lay a ring that fits on the circles. Your size is the circle whose line sits just inside the ring’s inner edge. Between two? Choose the larger.

Home measurements are accurate to about half a size. Fingers are bigger in the evening and in warm weather. A jeweller can confirm your size for free with a sizing gauge.
